Can I use flashbackup and synthetic backup for the same backups

Hello,

 

I know I maybe can be wrong but as long as I know we can't match flashbackups and synthetics backups at the same policy. But, I want to hear from you my colleagues whether I'm worng or not.

You are right - flashbackup is a backup type of it own. Normal file system backup are type 0 for unix, and 13 for windows. Flashbackup are type 20

There is nothing wrong in using flashbackup and synthetic for the same client - but it need to be in two different policies.
