Can License convert

Hi,

We have NETBACKUP SAP AGENT UX 1 SERVER HARDWARE TIER 1 ONPREMISE STANDARD PERPETUAL LICENSE. few days back we have migrated our SAP application from HP-UX plateform to Redhat Linux Plateform.

It there any way to convert "NETBACKUP SAP AGENT UX 1 SERVER HARDWARE TIER 1 ONPREMISE STANDARD PERPETUAL LICENSE" to "NETBACKUP SAP AGENT WLS 1 SERVER HARDWARE TIER 1 ONPREMISE STANDARD PERPETUAL LICENSE".

Yes. It is possible.
But only possible if license is 'current' - i.e. your annual maintenance support contract is up-to-date.

You need to contact your local Veritas reseller or Veritas Customer Care to arrange that.

Hello,

thats the question for your Veritas sales contact. As for my experience, there is usually no way to "downgrade" to a cheaper license. Maybe you can convert it to 2 or 3 SAP WLS licenses, or keep the current one. 

But again, ask your presale how to cope with this.
