Duplication Issue, Error code 190

Hi,

__DSSU Backup failed with error code 190 .

found no images or media matching the selection criteria(190)

Please help me to fix the issue.

What version of NetBackup is this? Also please post the detailed status to see the error and errors around it. This will give us more data to work with.

Two possible ideas:

When looking at the detailed status you may see a line like:  Skipping backup id nbu2kdc_1076535634, it already has 2 copies. if you do then check  TECH29482 as you may have met the max number backup copies.

If its not that, TECH181975 point out that you will want to look at the admin log and see if the line: "specified destination copy numbers are not available" is in it.

You possibly mean that the duplication is failing?

Please tell us more about your environment and DSSU config:

When did backup(s) run using the DSU?
Were backups successful?
How long after successful backups did the staging schedule start?

To assist with troubleshooting, please ensure that admin log folder exist on master and media server(s) under netbackup\logs.

After next failure, copy log file to a .txt file (e.g. master-admin.txt) and upload as File attachment.
