Error 50 on Large Duplicate

I have a issue with my duplicated jobs. I try to create a duplicated to disk but the duplicated ended with status 50. The image was I try to duplicated its almost 600GB
I see on the disk the image incremented the size but on Veritas the job appear to be hang on the Current Kilobyte Writting (Same Number) but on the Detailed Status I see the job mounting reading an unmount the tape.

How can I fix this situation? I have this issue with all image more that 200GB duplicated to disk or to tape.

My recommendation is to log a call with Symantec. There  are quite a number of TechNotes describing this behaviour as a bug and is supposed to be fixed by subsequent patches. Your logs will have to be examined to see if your problem corresponds with any of the problems described in the TechNotes or possibly experiencing a new problem...

Looks like there are issues with Symantecs ftp server AGAIN!

This issues with bpduplicate and bptm last for good 3 or 4 versions. I have seen similar problems on 5.1.

Anton, what its youre resolution for this issue? Im on 6.5.4 and appear to be continue. Do you have any workarround to fix this?

If your problem is caused by the process timeouts that is described in the 6.5.5 document update, the only fix will be the new binaries that come with version 6.5.5.
There is no documented workaround. Increasing normal timeouts won't help.

I'd requested a custom-made binary patch to tackle this issue. Contact your Symantec rep for that.

I agree with Anton, but getting custom binaries will require a support call being opened with Symantec. Experience has shown that this could be a  l-e-n-g-t-h-y process, and chances are that they will say 'problem is fixed in 6.5.5, please upgrade'!

I speak with a support guy on Symantec. He told me this error occurred when you try to do a duplication from other computer (Not the Master Server) or I you are tying to do a duplicated using a remote sessions (RDP, DameWare etc)

I try to create a duplicated this afternoon from the Master Server and I will send the result here. Dup. job its running right now.
