Error Code 57

Hello!

I'm having problems with what was a working NetBackup policy on my Enterprise Server. UNIX server connecting via NDMP -> NetApp FAS270.

This policy used to work just fine but now fails. NDMPD is running on the FAS270.

I've checked troubleshooting documents for NDMP connections, and it says the policy type has to be "NDMP" in the Policy Details screen, however, this option is not in my dropdown menu.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks ahead of time.

I had two of these this morning.
I get them every now and then.
the console can connet but backups don't work.

Verify that the agent is listening(started) on the client.
I have windows clients that do this every now and then. even though the service is set to auto, it is not always started.
