Exchage 2007 Restore - NBU 6.5.2 - Error 5

Hello,

I am trying to restore a single exchange 2007 mailstore in a CCR enviorment. I have followed step by step the instructions outlined in http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/297412.htm and recieve:

14:28:28 INF - Server status = 5
14:28:29 (1565187.xxx) INF - Status = the restore failed to recover the requested files.

Has anyone ran across this issue?

Windows 2008 Ent. x64
Exchange 2007 CCR
NBU 6.5.2

Hi,

This is very generic error message. Go through bpbrm log on the media server and tar log on the client to get a more specific error message. Check the system event log for errors during the time of restore.

check if master server and client are at same version and patch level. confirm if they are same.
