Fileserver on cluster

Hello

I am searching for the best way to backup FileServer on a Windows 2008 Cluster. I'have about five disk with a lot of small files.

Actually, I have configured one policy with FlashBackup Method and I adresse my both cluster node as clients. In backup selection I have my five disk as below :

\\.\Z:\
\\.\J:\
\\.\Y:\
\\.\X:\
\\.\P:\

Allowing multiple data stream is disabled.

This backup is working fine, but this jobs are exiting with the state "Partially Successfull". I understand this state because the drives are only hosted by one node, and Netbackup try to access twice. (On Each Cluster node).

I know that All_local_drive is not allowed with FlashBackup, and i think I will have the same problem if i use an alias Dns in each ressource cluster.

If someone have an idea.

Thks

Change Client name to Virtual hostname.

This way only active node will be backed up plus you can allow multiple data streams.
