Forward and Backwards Compatability between Netbackup 6.5 and Netbackup 6.0

Hello

My queston is if data is backed up to an tape using Veritas Netbackup 6.5, can that tape then be imported into Netbackup 6.0?

The way the data goes in to the media doesnt change is just a tar ball, if you have any encryption than you will have some trouble, but if is a normal backup, just import the media and let netbackup do the job, but why you dont upgrade that 6.0 to 6.5? I think that will be even better and no risks.

As for upgrading Netbackup we recently retired in our environement at version 6.0. This is really just a one off request that I recieved.
