Ghost/Template Image

Is it possible to install the NetBackup (specifically 6.0 MP2) client in a template/ghost based image?

If so is there anything that needs to be changed after the rollout of the image except for changing the server name in the client settings?

yes it works, just install it, modify the bp.conf file, add your master and, burn the image. Jus remeber when you install the image on another box modifiy the bp.conf file CLIENT = to the new client name.

Probably a stupid question but where is the bp.conf (Windows client)?

My fault for not specifying. This is 6.0 MP2 on Windows. I found the location of the client name and it's in the registry.

HKLM\Software\Veritas\NetBackup\CurrenttVersion\Config\Client_Name
