Platforms Supported for the NOM Server
NetBackup Operations Manager server software can be installed on the following
operating system platforms.

Windows 2000 2000 SP4 No 64 bit support
Windows Server 2003 2003 SP1 No 64 bit support
Solaris 8 SUN SPARC
No 64 bit support
Solaris 9 SUN SPARC
No 64 bit support
Note NOM does not support Solaris 10 due to VxAM and Solaris support issues. The
NOM server cannot be started if VxAM is not running.
Platforms Supported for NetBackup Servers
NetBackup Operations Manager software supports management and monitoring of
NetBackup master servers on the following operating system.

1. Core product and server support is on the Linux Red Hat and SuSE SLES platforms.
2. NOM is a 32-bit application that runs on the 64-bit-capable Solaris Sparc (only) as a 32-bit application.
