Help deleting a datadomain diskpool from Netbackup 7.1 master server.

Greetings,

We utilize several datadomains, but over time we've decommisioned some older models;  at the time of decommission we forgot to remove these diskpools from the master netbackup server. but when we run ... " /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbdevquery -listdv -D -stype DataDomain " we notice they still exist;  but in a "DOWN" state.  How can I delete these diskpools?  The diskpools that were on these datadomains don't even exists in our facilities any longer (shipped back to EMC)).  We tried the commands below with errors..

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbdevconfig -deletedp -stype Openstorage'(Datadomain)' -dp  test-lsu1
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbdevconfig -deletedp -stype Openstorage Datadomain -dp  test-lsu1

DSM was unable to find the following disk pool: test-lsu1(OpenstorageDatadomain)@host.whateverdomain.com
failed to delete disk pool,

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbdevconfig -deletedp -stype Openstorage(Datadomain) -dp  test-lsu1
-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('

Try using the Admin GUI itself

First ensure that there are no valid images left on them - if there are you will need to delete them forcibly from the command line - search via the catalog section based on disk type / locations.

Next delete any Storage Lifecycles that are no longer in use but did use them

Next delete any storage units for them

You should then be able to delete the disk pools and storage servers

Hope this helps
