You backup to different volume groups.
But please forget the idea of having one backup on exactly X number of tapes. Netbackup is not designed to work this way and there is not option to control this unless you every day like to perform manual tape handling.

Hey Nicolai,
Thank you, So there is no concept like to backup to these number of tapes. Different volume groups ??
How to do that i mean i have only idea to Creat a seperate policy and mention the VOLUME POOL name in that policy how to deal with Volume Groups?
Thanks,
Nayab

No - Netbackup is built for the enterprise and in the enterprise you focus on the mass volume and not on putting a single backup on a set of tapes. Just imaging controlling 5000 backup onto seperate tapes
Regarding the creation of volume group take a look at this tech note:
http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO33887
I can't guide you through the entire process - only point you to the documentation resources required.
Also there is all the documentation you want at :

My recommendation is to create different volume pools.
PLEASE understand that the more volume pools you create, the higher your media usage will be.
