How can we make the last full backup as final

Hi

we have  one windows server  for that last full backup for the server is 8-15-2014.now the server was retired .on 8-15-2014 we have full backup the backup we have  to consider as a final . how can we do the dupicate the backup ?

the final backup i have to do as 8-15-2015

can any one send the process

Sorry, not sure what you mean with this:

Do you want the expiration date of 8-15-2014 backup as 8-15-2015?

Or do you want to create a duplicate of 8-15-2014 backup with expiration date on 8-15-2015?

Or do another backup on 8-15-2015?

Still asuming you wish to increase the retention period of the backup till  8-15-2015

if backup is on the tape incrase the retention period of the tape and images

bpexpdate -backupid <backup id> -d 8/16/2015

bpexpdate -m <media id> -d 8/16/2015
