Hey Guys
Please lemme know what are parameters/things need to be looked at / taken into account to determine if a netbackup environment is healthy.

The short answer:
Do you jobs work
Is NBU doing what you want /expect
Do jobs complete within a time acceptable to you
If Yes to the above - it's heathly, at a 'high level'. Further investigation may show that it could for example run 'quicker'.
As a starting point to this 'further investigation' I would suggest to download and check through the performance and tuning guide. Also check out the SIZE and DATA buffer settings, these are explained either in the performance guide or the admin guide (apologies, can't remember which).

Can you perform restores? Perform test restores regularly.

Something else you can do is run a NBCC and submit it to Symantec via a ticket. They will review it and help you work through any database issues they see. You can read about it in this tech doc:
