How to recycle services of SAN medai server?

if it's *x OS,

/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/netbackup stop
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpps -x (make sure nothing's running except PBX)
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/netbackup start

if it's wintel

control panel, stop restart all the NetBackup * services

On windows, open a command prompt, browse to

c:\program files\veritas\netbackup\bin

then run

bpdown -f -v

to start services, run

bpup -f -v
