Inline copy licensing

Is inline copy a part of the base netbackup server license or a part of Vault extention.
Is it different in NB 4.5 and 5.x?

No it`s not. You need to buy extra vault license.
Vault is license per drive, and it`s the same in 4.5 and 5 .

For NetBackup 4.5 or prior, Inline Tape Copy needs additional license of Vault function.
But in NetBackup 5.x, Inline Tape Copy is basic function. No additional license is needed.
