Hi every one,

I have NetBackUp Enterprise Server 7.0 on Windows Server OS.

I need to backup from Red Hat server.

What do I need to do it?

Do I have to instal Linux Client on Red Hat server? In that case wich license do I need on my Master Server?

Thank,

"Do I have to instal Linux Client on Red Hat server?"

Yes. You'll need to download the appropriate s/w from fileconnect

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH126329

"In that case wich license do I need on my Master Server?"

You should have enough licences for "additional clients" to cover the number of clients you are backing up in your environment. ((Don't know why, but I had a feeling that these could be OS specific but cannot find any paperwork to confirm or deny this.))

Thank Andy,

I have enough client licences, but is there any specific licence to get from symantec.
