MS Data Protection Manager 2010 - Netbackup 7.1

Hello community,

I have the unfortuante task of relocating a datacentre who are using Microsoft Data Protection Manager for disk and tape backups.

Does anyone know if Netbackup 7.1 is capable of restoring DPM backups?

I dont believe so but you can back its files up to protect them should you need them later:

Thanks for the reply Mark.  I would need to restore the DPM images using Netbackup though.

NBu cannot read ANY other data except Backup Exec.

But even that is coming to an end...

The customer will have to keep a server and a standalone tape drive for restores.
