Most of the Windows 2008/2012 file servers backup fails with code 24/13

Hi Team,

We have most of the clients (Windows 2008/2012 ) which acts as file server fails with code 13 / 24.

only specific large drives get affected of all the servers. every time we need to resume the job to take it till completion.

Can I set bonding mode to "fault tolerance" or active-backup. So that at a time only one link will be active..

What is the use if only one interface is active at a time?

Hi Marianne,

Actually i m not sure if cause is bonding,,In only ""fault tolerance" or active-backup" mode one bond will be active.. rest all modes have some dependency on switch and configuration.

We see intemittent failures for Oracle jobs (58,25,6) and with differenet databases , Windows clients fail with Code 24,13. on resume it completes.

Symantec suggested to run Appcrititcal test however thier 32 bit linux utility is not compatbile with 64 bit servers so unable to run it. Also we have given requried logs to Symantec as well. As per them there is network issue however they can identify unless they run AppCritical utility.

Is thre anyone facing same issue before..kindly help me..

If you need assistance with bonding config, best to start a new discussion with that request in the subject. This post has been dragging along for almost 3 weeks - most people lose interest when this happens. Your chances are very slim that someone with bonding experience is going to recognise this discussion as a bonding issue.
