NBU 800 EMM Status Disk Volume Down

Hi

When trying to backup to a basic Disk (Storage Unit) I receive this error:

NBU Status: 800, EMM Status: Disk Volume is down

Backup of client xxx exited with Status 800 (Resource Request Failed)

Anyone know what would cause this?
