Hi All,
I am not able to expire the tapes as i run command
bpexpdate -m 000001 -d 0
Its throwing error :--> " requested media id is not assigned to this host in the emm database"

As Martin says .. if it is not assigned it cannot be expired
An alternative is if the command is being run from the master and the tape belongs to a different server
If you know which server owns it (this is a column that can be added under your media section in the admin console) then re-try the command using
bpexpdate -m 000001 -d 0 -host mediaservername

That is because the tape is not assigned.
Therefore, there is no need to expire it.
