Need to download Oracle binaries for linux media server

Need link to download the latest binaries

we have an issue like library link files

One server is showing 2007

what is the netbackup version you have...?

if it is 7.X, it will just update along with the Netbackup agent..

just upgrade your netbackup version to align with Master and media server...

Please check the NBU version on your clients:

cat /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/version

there are no separate agent binaries as from NBU 7.x. All agents and options are included with NBU client binaries. So, to update agent binaries, you need to upgrade NBU version on the clients.

looks like your client is also in 6.5.6

the only thing you can do is to upgrade your evniornment(master/media and Client) to 7.X

netbackup 6.X is not support by symatec.

Oh no! NBU 6.5??

Are you aware that ALL support for NBU 6.x ended in Oct 2012?

You can see that one client is on 6.5 (unpatched) and the other one on 6.5.6.

NBU version 6.5 needs separate downloads for Client software, Oracle agent as well as Java files.

NBU 6.5.6 patches can be downloaded from here:

You will need:

NB_CLT_6.5.6.tar provides updates for NetBackup 6.5 for all UNIX clients.

NB_JAV_6.5.6.tar provides an update to NetBackup 6.5 Java on UNIX platforms

PLEASE upgrade your environment.
As I've said before - as from NBU 7.x, all agents and options are included in the client binaries.
