Need to upgrade SRT in In VERITAS NetBackup

Dear All,

I am Facing below mentioned errors wole upgrading SRT in my Solaris machine. Please help me :(

I am pasing the logs and I marked the errors in bold letters.

As directed by bmrsrtadm, SUNWgzip package is missing in the SRT.

Ideally SUNWgzip package installation should have worked but looks like solaris-pkdadd here given some failure. You can try using pkgadd in chroot <srt_path> environment rather than using bmrsrtadm interface here.

 

Another workaround you can try:

Copy boot server /usr/bin/gunzip as SRT_FOLDER_PATH/usr/bin/gunzip. Make sure gunzip dependencies (lib files) are also there in your SRT if do not exist.

Fire ldd /usr/bin/gunzip to know its dependecies. I consider your Boot server OS is of similar version as your SRT OS because we are going to copy gunzip binary on BS to SRT OS.

If this does not work for you then please provide all version details in your setup:

Now i am facing an another issue.

Its not taking the update pakages, its showing the below error.
