This TechNote contains the entire listing for the 6.5.2 and has been updated to include the 6.5.2A Release Updates. The reason for the re-release of the core server and Live Update files affected is explained in TechNote 304269 (http://support.veritas.com/docs/304269 ) and 305000 (http://support.veritas.com/docs/305000 ).

I haven't found the doc yet that lists the what the Etracks were that were fixed for 6.5.2A, only for 6.5.2.

It is my understanding that the only thing that was fixed between 6.5.2 and 6.5.2a was in regards to the first incremental backup running as a full.

"After applying the NetBackup 6.5.2 release update, the first incremental backup run for each multistreamed policy on each client will run as if they were full backups."

J. Levan is right (twice!)

As for formal documentation, any 6.5.2A README should contain an updated list of fixed Etracks.  I checked the Solaris one and found that the last two listed in the "NB_6.5.2A" subsection of Section VI, "Current Release Update Index" - 1236242 & 1300823 - cover the sole fix in 6.5.2A mentioned in the TechNotes linked above.

These are also mentioned in Section VII, "Release Update Content:"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Etrack Incident = ET1236242 ET1300823
Associated Primary Etrack = ET1293550
Titan cases:  220-322-223

Description:
A change was made to address an issue that caused an incremental backup
to run as full backup the first time an incremental was attempted after
   upgrading to 6.5.2.

For more information about this change, refer to the following TechNote
on the Symantec Support Web site.

Tangentially related, TechNote 303396 has been updated with the 6.5.2A release:

NetBackup Software Alerts resolved with the release of 6.5.2 and 6.5.2A. This TechNote was last updated July 17, 2008.
