NetBackup on live Linux CD

I've RTFM'd but couldn't find anything. I would like to know if anyone is running NetBackup off live Linux CD/DVD. We need to use it in a training environment, and that would be ideal for us. If you've done it, please let me know what distro, and any other pointers. We have a site license for NetBackup.

Thanks!

You could create iso?

I've done it with a KNOPPIX live CD. All I had to do was make sure that the /usr/openv/netbackup/logs directory was someplace writable.

I use this for DR'ing my Linux servers. Just boot the CD and run a script that restores everything from backup. Recovery done.

I had never heard of anyone doing this - brilliant ideas!

Thanks, I will try that.

Maybe pointing it to the ramdisk would be enough.

Perhaps you could offer it as one of the distribution formats.

(BTW, post formatting doesn't seem to work)
