Netbackup 6.0 RHEL3 configuration problem

Hi All

I have a SUN v20z running RHEL3 with a SUN C2 autoloader with Netbackup 6.0 MP4. I can not get the tape drive to work. The robot qualification passes all the tests, but the tape qualification fails with 'Unable to allocate resources for diagnostics'

I can backup to tape using tar, so the tape drive appears to work fine, I can also operate the tape drive using mt and the robot using mtx without issues. Manually running robtest returns errors however it does actually work, ie move tapes from s1 to d1 and visa versa.

I have upgraded the firmwares on both the robot and the tape drive with no luck. I have also updated to MP4.

The drive keeps going into the down state but i have no idea why?

I have followed the intructions on MediaMgr_DeviceConfig_Guide.pdf

Below are some of the settings, anyhelp would be much appreciated.
