Netbackup 7.0.1 Deduplication Pool Creation

Hello all,

I am setting up the NB 7.0.1 media server in a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit environment on a VM 4.1 guest. I have created the storage server, but when I attempt to create a disk storage pool for the storage server the dialog box does not return the available drives for use.

Anyone seen this issue?

Hello,

It is quite far await from now but I remembered having issues, when trying to create a MSDP as well.

Did you add a separate vmdk for creating the dedup pool ?

Try creating an empty folder within that second virtual disk then see if it better works?

Thank you for your response.  Apparently, patch ET2110878  addresses this problem. Once the patch was applied I was able to view the available storage from the Admin Console GUI.
