nbemm log folder- ~ 4 GB & nbconsole ~3.5 GB.

trying open Netbackup Console, it will take 2 mins to respond.

Please find the screenshots for more info.

Thanks

1: Reduce the "Keep logs for" value from 30 to e.g. 14 dags in master server properties.

2: Run "vxlogmgr --del -p 51216 -e '06/30/2010 12:00:00 PM', this command will delete all logs created earlier than the date specified with the -e option. This is a temporary fix.

What does nbconsole log says? Does it refers to BMR db?  Enterprise client license when added, it starts the BMR engine (enable BMR); and nbconsole will try to check BMR database existence during its startup. Try creating BMR database, restart the services and check the Netbackup console.

did you check the verbosity settings in bp.conf file. it can be set to 5.

Look at file

/<installpath>/openv/netbackup/nblog.conf

I bet DiagnosticeLevel and DebugLevel are at 5 or 6

turn them down (do not edit the file use the following command)  and pick the level you want the unified logs to be at. I would go no lower then 1.

vxlogcfg -a -p 51216 -o Default -s DebugLevel=0 -s DiagnosticLevel=0

If I set the verbosity setting is set to 0 will it reduce the log files.

You can create a link for the logs folder to another drive..

Google "windows junction"

Yes; Setting verbosity to minimum will reduce the logging and Log files growth can be reduced.
