I recently refreshed win7 Desktops with win 10 desktops with bitlocker running.
I installed 7,7,3 client on each PC and added it to an existing policy that had ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES selected. I ran a backup and the Shadow Copy components backup just fine, buyt the c:\ failed within 2 minutes with error 13. Same error for all Win 10 client
Trouble shooting steps:
1) Changed backup selection to: C:\ and same error 13 appeared
2) Changed backup selection to:C:\* and found it backed up each folder in a seperate stream. After I exclude pagefile, swapfile and hiberfile files the backup ran successfully
3) Changed backup selection back to:C:\ and it failed with 2 minutes begin writing apeared in detailed status
anuone have ideas how to get the Windows 10 with bitlocker running to successfully backup c:\ so I cna change backup selection back to ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES
Thanks

I am trying to back up the C:\ on as a Windows 10 with bitlocker running and drive encrypted
On the master server properties - client attributes - client I had Enable Windows Open File Backups for this client unchecked

In the job details....does it say anything about issues with doing the snapshot?
