No expiration data in report

Hi,

I am usingg NBU 6.5.6  in our envirement.When i took report from reports--images on media,in certain images i can see expiration date as blank(No date isvisible).

Kindly letme know can we use that tapes.Also how to list expired media in a windows server.Please help

Media reports (images on media, media list, media summary reports, etc) will only list Assigned tapes. This normally means that there are still unexpired backup images on this tape. (Frozen tapes will remain Assigned even when all images have expired. ) Use Media Summary report (with Verbose option selected ) to see when tapes will expire. To know which tapes are available (already expired/unassigned) run this report from cmd on the master (in ....Veritas\NetBackup\bin\goodies ): available_media
