OST A.I.R functionality with Quantum DXi family

Does anybody know when A.I.R will be available with the Quantum OST plug-in for DXi?

At the Interconnect it was expected late Q4, 2011 with their 2.1 release.

The latest NBU compatibility guide even shows plugin-version 2.5, but without A.I.R.

Contact your local Quantum rep for roadmap info.

Symantec creates the API, but Quantum makes the plug-in.  It's up to them to implement the feature.

Though I wonder why no other vendors are in on this either, EMC is taking some 1-2yrs before they are committing to it.

DXi Version 2.1 has indeed been released. You can find more info on the Quantum website, such as this link on http://www.quantum.com/Products/Disk-BasedBackup/index.aspx  :

Please note that the plug-in software (e.g. 2.5) is not the same as the software on the DXi (e.g. 2.1).
