Policy that was created for a special onetime backup on a AIX Client

Environment:
Netbackup 6 MP4
Windows 2000 server SP4

Problem:  policy that I created for one time special backup for a specific backup selection on a AIX client backed up the entire system.  A second attempt was made creating a exclude_list on the client, however it still managed to backup the entire system.  The client does not have MP4 installed, but there are policies created on backup server that work by backing up only what is listed in the backup selection within policies.  What would cause this policy for special backup to get everything on client when other policies configured with same attributes backup whatever is listed in the backup selection.

Check what your policy says:

Exclude:           (none defined)

Try to restart the NBU deamons under the AIX box, that will resend the exclude_files info to the policy and remember that the exclude list must have the policy name included.
