Remove a client from a policy

Hello,

I was trying to remove a client from a policy but got a following error msg.

'The client could not be deleted from the client list, status: 238

 the database contains conflicting or erroneous entries(238)'

Enviornment : Netbackup 7.5.0.3

Any advices??

Never seen this error while removing client from policy. Have you tried closing the console and opening it again. Are you trying it from java console or windows console? I see old post from Andy where it happened when Admin console and Master server were running different version.

Also what kind of policy is this, I do see that when I vmware policy it does the validation and sometimes fails if it doesn't meet certain criterai but doesn't show this error message.

After reopening the java console, I could remove a client from a policy.
