Restore archive without NTFS or Share security permissions

Windows environment. Netbackup 6.0 MP1. I need to run a restore of a large number of smaller files to a different location than were they originally resided.

My main problem is I need to restore the files without any security permissions (NTFS and Share). Please help.

Hi Corey,

Try restoring from the command line using:

bprestore with the -drs option.

-drs - Allows files to be restored without access-control attributes. By default, access-control attributes are restored along with file and directory data. Option -drs is only available to netbackup administrators.

Thanks, I was actually looking in to that command.

I was initially trying to use the "restore without access control" on the GUI. It was grayed out when I was trying to restore to a host on a different domain. I was able to get it straight.
