is the media server that did the backup running?

your second error makes it look like tape X1234 is currently mounted and is being used for a restore or is being used for a backup.  And you would have to wait for that job to finish before it could be use.

Perhaps one of your previous restore tries is still haning on to the tape.  Check your active jobs to see if anybody has that tape locked.

1. Check your drives satus vmoprcmd -d
2. /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/vxlogview -X "jobid=your_jobid" -d all
3.Check you resolving (run on client bpclntcmd -pn). It's how you Master Server "know" your client.
4. bpdbjobs -U |grep -i que
5.
bpdbjobs -U |grep -i act

If it doesn't help to find any errors increase verbosity for OIDs  nbrb and nbemm, perform your restore and then try to collect the same logs.

I have checked vmoprcm the drive is up and I am using different media server and I have already define a force restore media server parameter in bp.conf file and I have also user nbrb utility but still no luck , can any one help me with this.

you say you are using a different media server, but your first error says there are not drives avail.

double check your force line in the bp.conf  (better yet show it to us) you may have a typo.

What is it you are trying to restore?
The file system /opt shows up in your restore path.
Maybe you are writing over some system files that are needed for Netbackup.
I suggest carefully looking at what it is you are trying to restore.
You my want to do an alternate path restore using links or additional fileststems.

1. Create /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bprestore folder on client
2. Increase verbosity up to 5 on client.
3.Run on master:
vxlogcfg -a -p 51216 -o nbjm -s DebugLevel=1 -s DiagnosticLevel=6
vxlogcfg -a -p 51216 -o nbrb -s DebugLevel=1 -s DiagnosticLevel=6
4. Create a folder on media-server:
/usr/openv/netbackuplogs/logs/bpbrm
4. Perform test restore.
5. Decrease verbosity of unif.logs on master
vxlogcfg -a -p 51216 -o nbjm -s DebugLevel=1 -s DiagnosticLevel=1
vxlogcfg -a -p 51216 -o nbrb -s DebugLevel=1 -s DiagnosticLevel=1
6. run vxlogview -X jobid=restore_job_id -d all
7. Check captured logs to find any interesting things or upload it to us.
8. Profit
