NetBackup 7.5
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.4
Linux Mediaserver that performs backups of WINDOWS servers. Recently the ShadowCopyComponenents backup has slown to a crawl. But ironically, the next day it may be fine. Or switches to another server. The clients vary, but inconsistent in regards to client and frequency. Clients are all 64 bit 2008 Windows machines. No major change to environment or clients other than standard patching
Any thoughts?

Which version and patch level are your clients - there have been bugs with 2008 backups which are fixed in the latest versions:

This is for 7.1 but some bugs will have worked through into 7.5 - always worth keeping up to date
