Step to upgrade NBU version from 6.5.5 to 7.1

Can some one provide me the step for upgrade NBU 6.5.5 to NBU 7.1

For Master, Media and Client. for both windows and unix servers.

Following are steps to upgrade NBU6.5.5 to NBU7.1

1. Do a catalog consistency check on NBU 6.5.5 server. If catalog database is inconsistent log a case with support and fix the inconsistencies in database.

2. Take a fresh catalog backup before upgrading to 7.

3. De-activate all policies and media servers. Make sure no job is running on NBU server.

4. Keep NBU 7 license keys ready for up-gradation.

5. Run the NBU 7 setup to upgrade the server.

6. Once this is done take a fresh backup of catalog again.

7. Let this run for at least one week. If no problem arise in one week do the above steps again to upgrade it from 7 to 7.1.

Very good advise, but there is no need to upgrade to 7.0 first. Upgrade straight to 7.1.
