Source: NfsClnt
Type: Warning
Description:
Windows(R) Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) failed a request to connect to Active Directory Domain Services(R) for Windows user <domain.lan\SV_account_sharepoint>.

Without the corresponding UNIX identity of the Windows user the user cannot access Network File System (NFS) shared resources.

Verify that the Windows user is in Active Directory Domain Services and has access permissions.

This warnning has create during backup.

I need active Unix identity in Active Directory ??

I try test manually mount nfs as here  https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH124810.html and it's OK !

You are hitting a known issue due to a confilct with date format vs locale.

Download the EEB from here:
Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) backup for Exchange,
Active Directory(AD) or SharePoint failed with "Granular processing failed!" on NetBackup 7.6.1/7.6.1.1

Have you entered the distributed application restore mapping settings for the sharepoint farm on your master server host properties?

To configure restores for a SharePoint farm with multiple servers
1 On the master server, open the NetBackup Administration Console.
2 Select NetBackup Management > Host Properties > Master Servers.
3 In the right pane, double-click on the master server.
4 Select Distributed Application Restore Mapping.
5 Click Add.
6 Provide the name of the application host and the name of the component host.
The application host is SharePoint Central Administration server. The
component host is the client that needs access to the backup image.

What do you mean by this? Can backup or cannot?

I don't can backup sharepoint and exchange with granular option.

Check out http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO73100,  verify if you have all those points done, especially #4 & #5.

OK.. more info please such as:

Netbackup version (assume it's 7.6) ,any patch level (7.6.0.x or 7.6.1.x)?

What OS is your media server, sharepoint frontend & backend ?

There are a few of related links here (exchange, Active Directory) with same error msg:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/exchange-2010-grt-backup-failure

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/grt-backup-issues-active-directory

Double check the Distribution Mapping part - add extra combinations for FQDN.
Ensure you restart the Master Server NBU Service when you modify this section.

Also , check the bpclimagelist command that runs on the SQL backend BDD-SRV-SHAREPOINT

Within the bpbkar log you will find:
"C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\bpclimagelist.exe" -client "

Find out whether that is successful or not, as you can run the same command manually.

Are you also running 7.6.0.x or 7.6.1?

Netbackup version is 7.6.1.1 .

Media server , sharepoint frontend & backend : Windows 2008R2 sp1

I found article about policy for sharepoint... I need configure two policy ? A policy without granular option and a policy with granular option ?

Thanks.

My configuration for Distribution mapping :

  • SRV-SHAREPOINT -- BDD-SRV-SHAREPOINT
  • SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan -- BDD-SRV-SHAREPOINT
  • SRV-SHAREPOINT -- BDD-SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan
  • SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan -- BDD-SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan

In bpbkar log I found this :

10:01:01.727 [6728.4236] <2> C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\bpclimagelist.exe: Request = SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan BDD-SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan BDD-SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan SRV-SHAREPOINT_GRT_TEST_B 0  9 1432195045 1432195045 fr fr fr fr fr 16 0 8 0 0 0 0 0

I try this manually :

"C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\bpclimagelist.exe" -client SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan -server nbu-master-01.domain.lan -s 05/21/2015 09:57:25 -e 05/21/2015 09:57:25 -policy SRV-SHAREPOINT_GRT_TEST_B -ct 8 -idnovalid -V

I get this error :

Invalid start date: 05/21/2015 09:57:25

I have changed date format in command line 05/21/2015 (MM/DD/YYYY) to 21/05/2015 (DD/MM/YYYY).

"C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\bpclimagelist.exe" -client SRV-SHAREPOINT.domain.lan -server nbu-master-01.domain.lan -s 21/05/2015 09:57:25 -e 21/05/2015 09:57:25 -policy SRV-SHAREPOINT_GRT_TEST_B -ct 8 -idnovalid -V

I get this :

1432195045 8 0 0

I don't understand... Help me please !

Thank you very much !!!!

It's good now !!

This issue affects NetBackup 7.6.1/7.6.1.1 on Windows 2008/2008R2/2012/2012 R2 on Exchange 2010/2013

You can add also Windows 2003R2 x64 with Exchange 2007 !

Thanks !
