In real life, netbackup server is a netbackup domain consist of a master server, clients and agents
No media servers, no san media servers, no VM support and no API robots.

Here's the NetBackup 7.5 Data Sheet - check out the table on page 8 for the simplest comparison:
http://eval.symantec.com/mktginfo/enterprise/fact_sheets/b-symc_netbackup_7.5_DS_21219459-2.en-us.pd...
(This data sheet is linked from http://www.symantec.com/netbackup - not to be confused with the link in my signature!)
As for which one you have...hopefully, you already know! But if not...
Check your licenses (bpminlicense -verbose command or Help > License Keys... in GUI)
bpminlicense will straight out tell you on the server tier line:
server tier = 5 NetBackup Server
server tier = 10 NetBackup Enterprise Server
This won't show up in the GUI, but you can check for many different Features which would indicate one over the other, for example, Remote Media Server Support would be an active feature for NetBackup Enterprise Server, whereas that feature would be absent from the list on a master running NetBackup Server.
Hope this helps!
