Which version can be used for BMR backup/restore RHEL 7 servers

I am using NetBackup 7.7 master server and the server's OS is rhel 6.8.

If I want to do BMR backup/restore for my rhel 7.X servers, which NBU client should I use？

You will need a RHEL 7 client as boot server (Boot server requirements documented in NetBackup Bare Metal Restore Administrator's Guide )

Be sure to also read through the footnotes in NBU 7.7 OS SCL in Red Hat Enterprise Linux - NetBackup Client section.

Do you mean that I can still use NBU 7.7 master, but a rhel 7.x boot server using NBU 7.7 client?

If my master server and boot server is the same phisical server, have I upgrade the server from rhel 6.8 to rhel 7.x?
