bmrsrtadm is not giving any output - Netbackup Linux Boot Server

I have installed Boot Server in a Linux server and patched it to 6.5.5. After installing & Patcing the Boot server, I tried to create a SRT and executed /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsrtadm command. However, it is not giving any output at all.

#>cd /usr/openv/netbackup/bin

#>./bmrsrtadm

#>

As you see above it is not showing the list [1-8] at all. Can anyone please let me know what might be the issue here.

Thanks in advance.

Can you post more detail about your boot server like below?

  • Distribution Name and Version
  • output of "uname -a"
  • output of "file /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsrtadm"
  • output of "ls -l /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsrtadm"
  • output of "chksum /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsrtadm"
  • output of "ldd /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsrtadm"
  • return code of /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bmrsrtadm

On the boot server run bmrsetupboot.

If not already done on the master server, run, bmrsetupmaster
