catalog pool to Offsite pool

Hello techies,

Can anybody give an info o this:

1.Can we Duplicate our catalog backup data using SLP to Offsite pool the same which we are using for offisite backup.

2. My another question is while I am taking vault catalog backup it is using two tapes for full catalog backup even the size is less. our tape  capacity is 2.5Tib. I am just using Full backup and single volume pool.

Catalog backup must be duplicated to a Catalog Backup pool.

You may want to set MPF setting on Catalog pool to 1 in order to limit the catalog backup to 1 tape.

Hi Marianne,

I have tried this But MPF option was disabled for catalog pool. when we select pool as catalog pool the MPF option is becoming disabled.

Is there any other process to limit a single tape for catalog backup.

Other users have managed to do this via cmd: vmpool -update -pn CatalogBackup -mpf 1
