I was wondering if someone could assist me with my problem relating to email notification for Netbackup 5.1 MP5 running on Windows 2003. I've setup BLAT using the guide
http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/254809.htm and it seems to be working correctly but I'm running into some issues.
I've setup nbmail.cmd with the following command:
@blat %3 -s %2 -t %1 -i X -server XX -q
Where X = e-mail account and XX = my exchange server
Apparently, the nbmail.cmd script is only working when I force a cancellation of a backup (status 150). I was wondering if anybody ran into this issue or would know how to fix this issue.
At the current moment, I am also using the backup_exit_notify.cmd script to capture the jobs which fails. This script is successfully capturing the failed jobs and notifying me correctly but does not output the File List of the failed backup job. An alternative would be to figure out how to modify this script to output the File List.
Please let me know if anybody has any ideas on how to resolve my issues. Thanks in advance for the help.
