netbackup 6.0 and spectralogic t50

Hi,

Netbackup 6.0 and a recently replaced spectralogic t50.

this model t50 has a newer drive in them so when i try to add the drives i get

drive unused element address

so i went and researched and I found the advice to update the driver which I did

the only driver i found was SymantecDeviceDriversforWindowsServers20070215_287850

which i installed but this did not help

where are more recent drivers?

Which OS?
What is the make/model of the tape drives?
Have you verified that these newer drives are supported with NBU 6.0? Pls see http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH43358

Can you see these tape drives in Windows Device Manager? To ensure that the new drives are seen, please delete all drives in Device Manager and rescan.

Only when the tape drives can be seen in Device Manager, retry the Symantec drivers.
