Check if D-drive is the Client's Exclude List.
Host Properties - Client - Windows Client - Exclude List.
If you do not want the contents of D-drive to be backed up, change the Exclude List entry to:
D:\*

Too little info - what is the NetBackup version of the client, what is the OS of the client?
bptm log from the media server and the bpbkar log from the client and the job details please ?

There is no excule list define of D Drive. On D drive there folder name " projects" and there is many sub-folder under this folder. This is the data which I want to backup but fail to do so. I create a new folder on D drive and place couple text files in this folder and try to backup folder which is successfully backup. After that I place same folder under " project" folder again I start backup only selecting folder which I was created but again same error occur.

As per revarooo's post below - you need bpbkar log on the client to troubleshoot.
Create the folder under netbackup\logs and increase Client's logging level to 1 in Host Properties.
After next failure, copy the log in bpbkar folder to bpbkar.txt and upload here as File attachment.

Issues with drive IBM.ULTRIUM-HH5.000 - if you have other drives, try downing this drive. I don't think the drive issues are related to your original post issue though!

This is an old bug that has been reintroduced in 7.6 per Symantec support. No ETA on resolution and no EEB is forthcoming.

I am experiencing a similar issue. I have a policy that backs up 4 clients at 4 different locations. It's backing up the same path for each site. Two of the four backups are working properly, the other two are backing up the folder I am specifying, but nothing below it. We've spent hours checking the policy, client configs, and even the accounts the NBU services are using on the clients, but haven't come up with anything. I was going to open a support ticket on Monday, but if anyone has a suggestion of something I can try now, I'm all ears. I've attached the most recent bpbkar from one of the clients that is not backing up as expected.
