new master - old client

hello and thank you for helping in advance. I have sever with the old version being run. I have new server but want to test with client. Client has old version. How am I to set client to new server.

Hi Gujion,
For your windows sever add the master server entries into the host file same applies to solaris or unix boxes

go to the backup archive and restore window and in the netbackuk machine specify tab punch your master server name and make it current.

take a netbackup client service restart.

add the client name in one of your policies.

bpclntcmd -pn ----> should contact the master server and display an output

fire a test policy.
