old catinfo files

when you do the hot catalog backup it makes a file

/opt/openv/netbackup/catinfo/Hot_Catalog_Backup_##########_Full

it then mails it to you.

is there a "proper" way via netbackup to cleanout old files in this dir or can I just setup a cron to remove files older then 6 months?

I've never noticed anything. I actually posted a response to a similar query yesterday saying that I've never cleared mine down, so we currently have over a years files (414 in total now) but only taking up ~1.6M.

I can see absolutely no point in keeping these over a month or so old really but ....

A cron seems the ideal way around this , but if there is actually some automated NB procedure to do his though I'd happily implement it!
