to use media in netbackup

Hi All

 we have successfully configured the tape library in Netbackup. this library was earlier used with CA brghtstore Arcserve and tape inside it as well..

Now we have configured this tape library with NBu master server and all looks fine.

But we have to use media in present in tape library in netbackup, please suggest how can I use those media in netbackup.

Either set the overwrite options (Media Server Host Properties - Media section) to automatically overwrite all media or lable all of the media (right click the tapes in the library view and select label) with the verify option unchecked.

Obviously this will wipe all data from those tapes so all of the CA backups on them will no longer be recoverable

You cannot import CA backups into NBU
