Hello, Community!

I am trying to fix all status 1 jobs and  this warning on 2 clients:

Content Indexing Server: unable to pause catalog: System (some files may not get backed up)
Content Indexing Server: unable to pause catalog: Web (some files may not get backed up)

Master: HP-UX 11.31 / NBU 7.1

Client: Windows 2000 / NBU 6.5.6

Thanks in advance

This can be switched off if not required or you could look at the following (quite old) TechNote which explains how you could script this so that it's stopped & then started automatically for the backup:

WRN - Content Indexing Server: unable to pause catalog: Web (some files may not get backed up)

Hi

These refer to the web site for the content indexing and can be safely excluded (*.wci) from your backups as they get recreated after a reboot anyway - or you can use script to stop the catalog before the backup

See this tech note:

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH19904

The system part is not so clear so the start and stop scripts may help with that as well.
