I just upgraded OpsCenter from 7.5.0.6 to 7.6.0.3
It is monitoring -
2 NBU master servers
5 Backup Exec servers, versions 11d, 2010 R2 and R3
All were working before the upgrade. All are working after the upgrade except for one.
OpsCenter server –
Windows 2008 R2 SP1
All OpsCenter services are running.
No errors or problems during install.
Event logs not showing any errors that could relate to this.
Problem child –
Backup Exec 2010 R3 SP1, x86
Windows 2003 R2
Agent Service is running.
No problems or errors during installation.
Event logs not showing any errors that could relate to this.
Data Collection Status is Not Started.
I have deleted and recreated the Data Collector.
I have rebooted both the BE server and the OpsCenter server.
I have disabled the data collector, stopped the service on BE server, waited, restarted service, enabled data collector. No change.
Waited overnight, no change.
The only place I can find anything that says a problem is when I go to Manage Views, Backup Exec, Manage Nodes and Objects.
If I delete that server from the node, then I can go to Objects Not in selected view and see this ‘reason’ – Unknown error has occurred while starting agent module. But I cannot find anything anywhere else to indicate a problem.
Any ideas?
